IBM QRadar

Hi,

for those of you interested in historic developments inside our IT security industry I have found a 12 year old document in my files regarding the old reseller contract we had with Q1 Labs. We at our company already knew Q1Labs for some years as an OEM solution. Later on we signed a reseller contract with Q1 Labs When IBM decided to buy Q1 Labs and their SIEM solution QRadar in 2013 a special amendment to our contract was signed, enabling us to continue selling the product to our customers. This is the letter you can see from the 1st screenshot. BTW at that point in time we have been the only active reseller in Germany for QRadar SIEM!

Same year we got an invitation from IBM to come to Prague joining our 1st QRadar workshop with IBM and Q1labs. We spent a wonderful week there and there was some beer in the evenings too. The 2nd screenshot is from the many presentations and shows  7.1 features just released in 2013. BTW The date printed on the foil is wrong. At that time nobody at IBM did expect that this product will become the umbrella for all security products with IBM and become an important part of our wonderful community.

PS in case you wonder about the address information in here. The company and address do not exist anymore. Its just me that is left over :-)
