Enterprise COBOL for z/OS 6.4, 6.2 documentation is refreshed today to include the following enhancements:
Documentation fixes in COBOL 6.4:
- In Programming Guide:
Updated the IBM z/OS Debugger information and its reference link. (Abbreviated terms)
Clarified that the CICS compiler option can only be specified for the first program in a sequence of programs (batch compilation). (CICS)
Updated the JCL example for link-editing user-defined functions. (Link-editing user-defined functions)
Fixed SYSTADATA issues to reflect the correct field. (Symbol cross-reference record: X'0044')
- In Language Reference:
Updated the value for UTF-16 value for intrinsic functions. (UVALID)
Corrected the format of INSPECT statement with CONVERTING phrase. (INSPECT statement)
