Watch the following videos to learn how to use the Designer tool in Cloud Pak for Network Automation to view, explore, and design new assembly descriptors and their components.

The Designer tool is available for 2.4.0 and later.

Video 1: Overview of Designer tool in IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation (2:43)

Watch an overview of the Designer tool and learn about the key features, including how to navigate the package catalog and the design canvas, and edit components and relationship cards.

Learn how to create a basic assembly descriptor and how to add elements, such as networks and web servers. See how you can drag properties from one component to another to easily create referenced properties. Also, see how error and warnings are highlighted in the Designer tool and learn how to quickly address them.

To complete the assembly, see how you can add a load balancer element and set up a relationship between the load balancer and the cluster. Also, see how you can expose properties for the public API.
