The z/VSE Information Development team worked hard to enhance and update the z/VSE Knowledge Center. The z/VSE Knowledge Center contains the z/VSE manuals as well as links to technical articles and whitepapers from the z/VSE team. Most of the manuals are available in an online browsable and searchable form. Many more are available for download in PDF format. Follow the link "PDF Library" in the right navigation pane for the list of manuals available for download as PDF.

Follow the link "Technical Articles and Whitepapers" in the right navigation pane of the z/VSE Knowledge Center for the list of technical articles and whitepapers. The most popular ones are listed at the top, for example (in no particular order):

Please note that the location of the link to the z/VSE Knowledge Center on the z/VSE Homepage has changed since a recent update of its design. It can now be found in the blue "Popular resources" section at the bottom of every tab (i.e. "Operating system and software", "Connectors and tools", and "Resources and events").

Following is an incomplete list of enhancements and updates that were recently made to the z/VSE Knowledge Center:

• Integration of the following manuals to be browsable and searchable online:
  • VSE/POWER Application Programming
  • VSE/VSAM Commands
  • VSE/VSAM User's Guide and Application Programming
• Enhancement and update of the welcome page:
  • Added links to the z/VSE Hot Service News and z/VSE News Archive
  • Updated link to the z/VSE Blog and added link to the Archive of Ingolf's z/VSE Blog
• Miscellaneous enhancements and updates:
  • Updated individual manuals with regards to IBM z15, e.g. the z/VSE Planning manual
  • Updated individual manuals with regards to OpenSSL
  • Updated the LE/VSE Programming Reference manual with regards to the support of the new Japanese era REIWA
  • Fixed broken cross-reference hyperlinks among most of the online browsable z/VSE manuals
  • Updated individual PDFs to match the content of the online browsable z/VSE manuals
  • Enhanced the navigation structure of the z/VSE Knowledge Center
