New Ways to Connect, Learn, and Lead at TechXchange 2025

By JEANNINE KILBRIDE posted Tue September 16, 2025 04:44 PM

Hi TechXchange Community,

I’m thrilled to be heading back to TechXchange for my third year—but this time, I’m showing up in a whole new way. Earlier this year, I joined the content team with a mission: to help shape dynamic, engaging programming for the conference. And let me tell you, it’s been a whirlwind of planning, brainstorming and collaborating to bring some exciting new experiences to life.

Let’s talk about what’s new!

Peer Roundtables: Kickstart Your Morning

We’re rolling out Peer Roundtables—a fresh way to kick off each morning (Tuesday through Thursday). These are small, relaxed breakfast conversations with just 10 participants and a moderator, designed to spark meaningful dialogue in a casual setting. No slides, no pressure—just your thoughts, your voice, and your curiosity. Oh, and yes—breakfast is served!

Your expertise and facilitation skills will help make these sessions truly impactful. If you’re ready to dive into thoughtful conversations and connect with peers, sign up now. Here’s what we’ll be exploring:

  • Tuesday
    • Building with a Mission Mindset (sessions 4155, 4156)
    • The Geek Way in Action (sessions 4157, 4158)

  • Wednesday
    • Building Seamless Workflows Across Hybrid Environments (sessions 4159, 4160)
    • How I AI (sessions 4161, 4162)

  • Thursday
    • Balancing AI Safety in Progress(4163, 4164)

Credentials Club: Your VIP Experience

Also new this year, the Credentials Club—an exclusive lounge for IBM Clients and Partners. Picture premium food, great networking and yes, there might be massage chairs involved!

If you’ve already earned a credential in Credly, look for the gold star on your badge—that’s your VIP pass. Not credentialed yet? No worries, you can earn one onsite by:

  • Passing a certification exam in Sandbox Hall B.
  • Completing 2 acts of advocacy at the Champions Lounge (Booth 200) to earn the Rising Champions Badge.
    • Speaking at IBM TechXchange counts as one act of advocacy toward the Rising Champions Badge—complete one more to qualify.
  • Attending 4+ hours of learning, including at least one workshop or lab, to earn the Conference Learning Badge (details at Training Booth 602).

Why It Matters

Whether you’re joining a roundtable, relaxing in the lounge, or leveling up your skills, TechXchange 2025 is all about connection, learning and community. I can’t wait to see you there and hear what you think of these new experiences.

There is still time to join us in Orlando! Register here.
