In March we had our Student Hub 2022 kickoff - this was an opportunity for all of us to talk about the community and all we can offer to you. If you missed it, here is a link to the replay.
The replay includes answers to some basic questions about the platform,  talks about careers on IBM zSystems you can pursue and why this platform is so important to many companies around the world. 
To pursue one of those careers the most important piece is to understand how you can start learning. That has been made very easy with the Z Xplore Learning Experience.  This experience is open to all, available year-round at no charge and includes, IBM Z system access, progressive learning paths, hands-on challenges, digital badging, rewards and a leaderboard. It is also available in English, Brazilian Portuguese & Spanish.
 
For those of you looking to extend your learning beyond IBM Z Xplore, we offer several different learning paths that you can follow and many other resources at ibm.biz/ztalent for you and your university.  We have also provided hints and instructions to help you to start learning today. 
Our mission with the Student Hub is to help you with your IBM zSystems journey. If you have any questions, the best way to reach us is to open a discussion topic. 
For those of you interested in becoming a Student Ambassador, the replay also includes a talk with Lavisha Bugreja. Lavisha is one of our Student Ambassadors who is working closely with her school helping to organize events, and engaging with local students to start their careers. If you are curious about what is necessary to be an ambassador, Lavisha talked about this opportunity and what you need to do to be a student ambassador too.

I'm always proud of IBM Z systems because that was my first learning path when it comes to technology. Z systems opportunities are not equally distributed but as long as your path to a zSystems career is a good one, don't rest until you get there. This student hub is amazing and the zSystems ambassadors are doing a great job. Keep it up everybody :)
