The IBM® Performance Management on-premises product loves getting out and about in the world. Going new places, meeting new data, making new friends, all in a productive day’s work. You can integrate other products and components with your Performance Management product and it will play happily with its new friends.
You can integrate Dashboard Application Services Hub with Performance Management to create a single console or to create your own custom dashboards. Sounds cool, right? So here’s how to get the task done in four easy steps:
Step 1: Configure single sign-on with Jazz for Service Management
Because nobody wants to enter their user name and password more than once.
Step 2: Configure a new console integration
Display external content from the Performance Management console in the Dashboard Application Services Hub console.
Step 3: Connect to the Performance Management data provider
As in any meet and greet situation, it helps if all parties concerned are present and accounted for. Before a connection is established, the data provider needs to be up and running. Open the browser on the Dashboard Application Services Hub server and point to the data provider URL and click GET. If the data provider is available, it displays a ready status. Now you’re free to create the connection.
Step 4: Create custom dashboards with Performance Management data
Lists, gauges, charts, or a simple table, whichever your preference, add widgets that you love.
Ta dah, you’re done. Now you have a single console to view all your data – bliss!
