Choose From Three Interactive AI Bootcamps at IBM TechXchange Conference 2025

By DAVID Jenness posted 3 days ago

When you ask hardcore Technologists the best way to learn about a new technology, they will often tell you they want learning opportunities where they can use live software to build real applications. IBM TechXchange Conference 2025 is IBM’s largest annual Learning Conference and for its third year, the IBM Coding Challenges team has created three challenging AI Bootcamps, designed especially for three different types of attendees. Each one lasts three hours and each is offered twice at the Conference, so you have two chances to book a seat (only 30 seats available). You will use your own laptop using software you'll access on IBM Cloud.

Bootcamp for IBM Z

For developers who work in the realm of IBM Z, one of the most common challenges is refactoring legacy code to more modern coding languages to support new AI and Automation workloads. That’s where IBM watsonx Code Assistant for Z can be an enormous asset. Watch this short video with the bootcamp creators, Thoz Javu and David VandePol, explaining how it will go.

Bootcamp for Business Technologists

IBM TechXchange attracts a wide variety of Business Technologists, who may not see themselves as “coders,” but nonetheless, want to experience IBM AI. For these attendees, we created a Bootcamp that uses watsonx Orchestrate, built especially for Business leaders to create AI applications without coding.  One of the Bootcamp creators, Yana Ageeva of IBM Client Engineering, explains how easy it will be in the short video.

Bootcamp for Experienced Developers

IBM TechXchange 2025 offers experienced developers a chance to expand their skills with an exciting experience that enables them to write code and create AI Agents for a wide variety of use cases. IBM Distinguished Engineer, Andre Tost has concocted a superfun challenge that puts developers right where they want to be, inside the code. Andre explains more in this short video.

There’s only 30 seats for each bootcamp, so move quickly to secure a spot. Remember to bring your own laptop and you’ll notified by email before the event with instructions on how to set up an IBM Cloud account to gain access to the live software. Visit this link to see all three Bootcamps in the IBM TechXchange Conference catalog.

I have a question about the Bootcamp for IBM Z.  I am speaking on Wednesday from 2-3 and cannot attend the beginning of the Bootcamp.  Would it be reasonable or even possible to come late?  I completely understand if the answer is no, and I don't want to take a reserved spot away from someone who can attend the whole time.
