#Other#TechXchangePresenter
Once upon a time, a Broadway actress turned speaker coach shared the secrets of how to infuse tension into a presentation to engage attendees and make them yearn to find out what happens next.
How? By using the time-honored techniques of storytelling.
Actually that was Wednesday, September 10 when that happened and the actress was Melinda Buckley. Maybe you saw her in “A Chorus Line,” or “Chicago,” or her one-woman show, “Mother.” Speakers for IBM TechXchange Conference 2025 were fortunate to see her in the recorded webcast, “Unleashing the Power of Story,” where she shared practical suggestions that all presenters can use as they build and refine their presentations for IBM TechXchange 2025 (Oct. 6-9 in Orlando, Florida).
Melinda will be on-site in Orlando delivering a session, “Authenticity on Stage: Capturing Attention in a Distracted World,” but she is also coaching speakers in one-to-one “Fine Tune” sessions in the Speaker Ready room. You can book a 15-minute session in the Session Catalog here.
Better act fast, because her 12 spots will fill up fast.
Here is the recording from September 10…. Enjoy and then take your presentation to the next level!
