Another social hour and another year in the books for all of us here in the IBM Community!
We thank you all for your contributions in 2021. At 270K members, our community is THE place to interact with other IBM users and experts, ask and answer questions, and get to know each other. Our 330+ user groups (holding 263 user group meetings during a pandemic year), plus 2062 blog posts and 31,000 conversations are a signal that our user community is an engaging and vibrant place to be for users and learners of IBM products and industry topics - with more to come in 2022!
Thanks to the participants of our holiday celebration, where we listed the 2021 IBM Community Contributor badge earners and announced the member of the quarter: Prof. Joao Goncalves of the Security Verify community!
We had a lot of fun getting to know our Community leaders with a game of 3 truths and a lie (you can share yours
here!) We have fluent Italian speakers, glacier climbers, classical pianists, celebrity elbow-rubbers, and the one that stumped us all: someone that doesn't like pizza!
We also enjoyed hearing our members' favorite holiday desserts from around the world: mulled wine, mincemeat pie, bibingka, tres leches, pumpkin pie, cheesecake, cherry eggnog cake, tiramisu, coconut cream pie, figgy pudding and ginger cookies.
Finally, we had the great pleasure of having IBM's Chief Community Officer, Marius Ciortea and IBM's Chief AI Officer, Seth Dobrin, discussing diversity initiatives at IBM and what the community means to Seth (he loves the commitment of the members).
