The business events tpf_bev_getEventInfo API provides you with the capability to get information for a specific business event or a list of business events that are loaded to your z/TPF system.  The list of business events can include all events, only deployed events, or only undeployed events.  The information returned for each business event includes deployment status, event type, names of user defined programs, list of dispatch adapters, and other information.

Previously, you did not have a way to programmatically discover information regarding business events.  With this support, you can use tpf_bev_getEventInfo to easily check the deployment status of business events or create your own utilities or displays for business events.  A utility might include verifying that a set of critical business events are deployed on your z/TPF system or displaying all business events that use dispatch adapters with specific custom transport programs.
