IBM QMF 12.2 Installation Notes

Users migrating to DB2 QMF Enterprise Edition Advanced 12.2 or DB2 QMF for z/OS 12.2 who have already installed and configured the following QMF 12.1 component FMIDS, do NOT need to reinstall or do any migration process:

  • HSQCC10, QMF for TSO & CICS
  • HHPCC10, QMF HPO
  • JYQCC10,  QMF Applications
  • HQDCC10, QMF Data Service
  • JSQCC1Q, QMF for z/OS Identifier
  • JSQCC1C, QMF Classic Edition Identifier
  • JSQCC1E, QMF Enterprise Edition Identifier

The above FMIDs are part of both the QMF 12.1 and QMF 12.2 features.  If they are installed and configured, no further work must be done. QMF 12.2 includes one new SMP/E installable component, the QMF Z client, which is FMID HFQMC20.
