Through the beta program of XL C/C++ for Linux and XL Fortran for Linux, we are collecting feedback from our clients and listening to the needs from C/C++ and Fortran developers on PowerLinux, as we improve the quality of our next offering. Being a beta participant, you will:
- Obtain access at no charge to the latest technology in the XL C/C++/Fortran for Linux compilers.
- Get a chance to shape our next offering. You can raise your requirements and feedback directly to the lab development team, thus increasing the possibility of getting them addressed in an upcoming version.
- Stay connected with the experts. Your questions regarding the XL compilers will be taken care of in a timely manner by our compiler developers.
By using our latest beta compiler, you can exploit GPU computing capabilities with our continuously expanding support for the OpenMP API V4.5 specification. For example, with the newly supported and updated OpenMP directives and clauses, you can better construct your applications for improved performance. You can also promptly benefit from the ever improving CUDA Fortran support. For example, more configuration choices are provided so that you can have better control over compilation per your need. In addition, you will also have the access to broadened support for various CUDA Fortran features, like further versatility from OpenMP interoperability with CUDA C/C++ and CUDA Fortran.
