We have simplified installation and support for many of the most significant open source libraries and tools, and with the award-winning user experience design of IBM Visual Insights our team has delivered a platform which makes the process of creating custom computer vision models within the reach of subject matter experts and developers keen to add AI applications into new or existing processes.

Today, our team is proud to announce a further step in this journey of making AI more accessible by releasing IBM Visual Insights to Nvidia NGC, the hub for GPU-optimized AI software.

For users, this simplifies the deployment of IBM Visual Insights as a fully functional trial version for download and installation on common, tested configurations.  IBM Visual Insights from NGC speeds up installation and time to first productive use for existing GPU accelerated servers, both on premises and in the cloud.

For users, this provides a simple way to test and evaluate computer vision inspection solutions, to explore new ways of evaluating asset performance or adding AI to manufacturing quality inspection, or to create new models to protect employees and customers by helping to monitor for appropriate social distancing to reduce risk from COVID-19.

IBM is excited to be partnering with Nvidia around this new way of making this powerful software available to developers everywhere.
