SAP has published a deep-dive presentation for the reference architecture SAP for Consumer Products Solutions in a Hybrid Cloud with IBM Power. For details on the reference architecture please see previous blog post here.
The presentation gives a great overview of the environments in SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SAP Cloud Connector as the backbone of the connection from on-premises or Power Virtual Server to SAP BTP and details the architecture of a common hybrid cloud scenario in the consumer products industry.
Similar architectural principles can be applied in other industries or to connect SAP NetWeaver/SAP Business Suite systems on P, I or Z to cloud applications and services in SAP BTP.
