  • 1.  Unable to access database from ILMT Console

    Hi Team,
    We were unable to login to ILMT Console and getting the error as "Server error:Unexpected server error:Database Error:[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'LastLoginTime'.(S0022: 207)".

    Data import log entry as:

    2023-02-24 18:00:00 (+0:00:00.016) INFO: Previously imported Catalog version: 9.2.30.5
    2023-02-24 18:00:00 (+0:00:00.177) INFO: Check datasources connectivity: Start
    2023-02-24 18:00:00 (+0:00:00.094) ERROR: RuntimeError: Check Data Source: API connectivity failed. Check whether the BigFix server is accessible under the following URL: https://************.com:52311/api/login. If not, contact the Administrator of BigFix.
    C:/Program Files/ibm/LMT/wlp/usr/servers/server1/apps/tema.war/WEB-INF/lib/etl/runner.rb:237:in `block in check_datasources'
    C:/Program Files/ibm/LMT/wlp/usr/servers/server1/apps/tema.war/WEB-INF/gems/gems/sequel-4.24.0.9d792a04e8ef0cea89ab8b94522b4942/lib/sequel/dataset/actions.rb:137:in `block in each'

    In BES Log file(FillDB File), we observed the below log entry:

    Wed, 01 Feb 2023 08:57:18 -0800 -- Import of version 1476 of site BES Support completed successfully
    Fri, 24 Feb 2023 08:03:47 -0800 -- Connection failed: Database Error: The database being connected to has a database version of 'Enterprise 10.85', and this application requires a database version of 'Enterprise 9.44'.

    Thanks Andrei for acknowledgement. 

    We have rebooted both servers (SQL & ILMT) and tried to login. This time we got new error like "Have you run BESAdmin to create the signin key xxxxxx" attached screeshot here. 

    Recently, we started to build, install and configure new ILMT Server with latest windows OS. But the database server is same. we installed BigFix on new server as per below URL and tried to access the same SQL database server. Will cause any issue with existing setup ?

    Hello,

    The most obvious reason is an improper ODBC connection setup on the machine where BigFix server is located (this new server).
    BESRelay.log file should give some more insight on the root cause.... 

    Apps like BESAdmin and BigFix Console connect to the BigFix database based on local ODBC definition.
    Thus, please check in ODBC Admin (odbcad32.exe) how the bes_bfenterprise 'System DSN' is configured.
