Library structure - how to view by Function

    Hi there,

It would be great to know how to set up our Processes so as to be able to have a Library view by Function (defined byour Swimlanes / Paticipiants / Business Owners). Is the an easy way to view the library by function and also by Business owner.

Also where we have cross-functional processes would we be able to search for whoever is defined as the overall owner or indeed joint owners?

    Many thanks

    James

    James,

There is no direct functionality in Blueworks Live to produce the view that you describe. The information is available via the API or excel exports. I have some clients that use these extracts to produce this sort of view in reporting tools external to Blueworks Live.

This would be a good requirement to raise in IBM's Ideas portal.

For the second part of your question. Clicking on the little tri-fold icon next to a business owner property will display all of the processes/activities where that business owner is referenced. This can be seen in the display (not edit) view of a Blueprint or in the Glossary. This list can be exported as a spreadsheet. This data can also be retrieved via the "glossary-values" API.
