    Hi

Moving IBM App Connect Enterprise to AWS this weekend.

    CPU Sockets = 2 x CPU Cores per socket = 4  which gives you a total of 8 CPU's.

However, when we look at the server in our Datacentre, each CPU has been threaded so what gets reported is 16 but we are rightly still licensed for 8 based on cores/sockets.

Now try and match that with what we go with in AWS, we believe it will be different due to the virtualisation layer.  My fear is this will report 16 and double our capacity being reported which is not good.

Will ILMT reflect it as 8 cores when it is in AWS? We want to remain in license compliance?

    Hi Jonathan,

You need to configure VM manager within ILMT for it to be licensed as per the sub- capacity. Without VM Manger configured ILMT will be running on full capacity increasing your cost.
