So, is the preprocess check being done by some custom code, request filter plugin?

Subject: ICN Workplace: launch a process from a right click on a document - validations?
Hello,
Thanks for your reply!
The solution we are looking for is in between Navigator and BAW.
We are currently doing the checks in this "pre" process.
The goals are:
- Avoid having this "pre" process and perform these checks before launching the process;
- Give immediate feedback to the user (either by not having the option available or showing some feedback)
- Use OOTB features.
Thanks,

hi,
Is the issue with IBM Content Navigator or Workplace?
You mention that you are already doing a check on step 2 - so, it is not clear what you mean by a feature that does these checks?
Are you asking if there is OOTB feature to do the check in Step 2?
Please clarify.

Hello Everyone,
Hope you doing well.
We started recently to use the feature from Content Navigator to launch a process from a right click on a document:
We have found a pattern to check if the document/logged in user may/may not start the process:
1. Launch a "pre" process.
2. Do the checks (document property values, user group memberships)
3. If the checks were passed
a. The "real" process is launched.
4. Otherwise, a task is generated in the workplace to inform the user with the reason why the "real" process was not launched.
Our goal with this post is to ask if there is any feature that allows us to perform the checks before creating the task and give that feedback to the user and avoid step 4.
Thanks for your help,
