BPM, Workflow, and Case

I have created a BAW Case Solution and implemented an "Activity with a new Process" which is triggered automatically when the case is created. There is coach which renders the properties and other relevant information when user access the task from the in-baskets. After user has done validations/necessary actions they would like to assign the case to some co-worker from the coach view of the task. When we right click a task in the in-baskets there is an option with the name "reassign item" which allows user to select the user from the list coming from AD. Can we re-use similar functionality somehow in coaches or is there any other alternative way to make this work ?
