Content Management and Capture

Hi All,

Can anyone point me to any comparative documentation (if it exists) of FileNet against other ECM competitor products. 

My company is planning to move out of FileNet for a project that requires only ECM capability. 
I want to present a comparison of these products based on general ECM features, such as security, ease of use for end user/ user Interface, ease of administration and customization, retention and disposition capabilities/records management, technical support and cost to convince them to stay with FileNet.

There is documentation from Gartner that shows vendor ECM product positions but no cost information.  Ultimately if an organization was set on considering other products an RFP would be necessary and six+ months of time working with vendors.  Include IBM in that process and if you get responses showing the software cost and/or TCO is substantially lower that is something IBM would have to consider if they want to keep the organization as customer. If you went this route the vendors will battle it out and you don't have to do the work.  Typically pricing with migration will be thru the roof and management will have to ask the question 'is this the most important enterprise project we need to do?' which is usually no and it's not worth the million dollars to move to another platform.  For customers with low document counts it may make sense to consider other offerings cloud included.  Medium and up the ROI is difficult to obtain.
