Considering that BAM 9 is based on a "micro service cloud first" approach what is the future for the embedded java server deployment option? I am in the planning phase of a migration of an old jbpm application and I am in the final decision of the deployment option. I understand that currently the migration should be to V8 because of the bpm limitations in B9 but one decision that I need to do is if I just migrated the SDK and continue with jBPM enbedded or I move to KIE Server with API Calls. The processes instances are not exposed to other services beside the monolith app, so the KIE Server (or Kogito in the future) would be just and overhead..
Any thoughs on this. Of course if embedded support will be discontinued, I have only one option...
