    Posted Wed February 07, 2024 10:35 AM

    Hello,

I have run the pre-upgrade check for BigFix upgrade (now running on 10.0.10.) with Exit code 0.

I see fixlets to update Ubuntu/Windows/Suse clients to 10.0.11

but nowhere to upgrade the BigFix Server components (Upgrading on Windows systems)

BES Support is at 1.487, ILMT at 155

I have seen (and downloaded) 10.0.11. Server packages on https://support.bigfix.com/bes/release/

And I have seen even BigFix 11 on BigFix Download Center

I am sure it is better to upgrade to the latest version of 10 before moving to 11 ... but my BigFix does not even show me the latest v10 update.

Is there a way to make server check for updates?

    Thanks, Igor

    Hello Igor,

So, you don't see "BigFix - Updated Platform Server Components version x.x.x Now Available!" on the available Fixlet list, correct ?

Have you tried to enable 'Show Hidden Content / Show Non-relevant Content' option ?
If "BigFix - Updated Platform Server Components version x.x.x Now Available!" shows up as Non-relevant you need to check which relevance is not fulfilled.

BES Support site version '1.487' should definitely contain Update Platform Server Fixlets for  10.x & 11.x

Hello Oktawian, thanks for your comment.

Right, when I enable "show non-relevant content" the "Updated Platform Server Components" are shown. But they are all greyed out, looks like I cannot use them.

I will work through the notes/requirements to see what has to be fullfilled that the fixlet gets relevant.

    Thank you very much.

    Kind regards, Igor
