  • 1.  Holidays and working days in FileNet workflows

    Hi... I am looking for alternatives or examples to handle holidays and working days for assigning tasks in a FileNet workflow, hopefully without having to use external resources to the product.
     
    Any advice ?

    I've never used them myself as I've always gone down the external (usually DB with dbexecute integration from Process Designer) route.

    Hi Dave ... first of all thanks a lot for the information.

    I saw it before but never used it. I always handled this with a configuration file stored in the repository, available only to administrators, which is read at the start of the workflow execution to retrieve the configuration values from the  metadata or the content (I have used both depending on the number of parameters).

    I think I will try to implement a POC to test these capabilities and check if it is a better alternative than mine.
