  • 1.  can't create new app

    hi team

    I want to ask something, I can't create new app, when I create a new app in production I get an error like this, where server rulerunner manager and datacap server manager are in different places

    I attached the file from the log:

    C:\Datacap\DStudio\WpfAppWiz.dll. AssemblyVersion: 9.1.7.0
    AssemblyFileVersion: 9.1.7.14.***************** Application Wizard New Application Logs *************************
    3/16/2022 9:31:16 AM Reading application data
    3/16/2022 9:31:16 AM Error reading application: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    3/16/2022 9:31:16 AM Encountered an error while attempting to save the log file: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Datacap Application\VerificationID\appwiz_new.log'.

    The answer can be found here.  Dstudio is a x32 bit.  When the original apps was created it was using jet for ms access.
    But cause it was using the taskmaster.exe in x64 it has to be using ACE provider. 
    That's why the wizard fail.  I believed you have to take it out of the taskmaster x64 batch to 32 bit and change the provider back to JET than dStudio wizard work.  Once the copy apps is done you need to set everything back to x64 and set your provider back to using ACE.
