    Hi Everyone,

My name is Stephanie, and I'm part of the IBM Community Management team. There are several of us working to make this community a place to gather.

Our goals are to support you, answer your questions, facilitate conversations, help you get to know the platform, and make this community an overall great place for you to visit regularly. I'm excited to get to know you all personally.

I'd love if you'd upload a profile picture, then introduce yourself briefly in the comments below by answering one or all of the following questions (feel free to go off script as well):

    • What would make this community amazing for you?
    • How do you use Blueworks Live?
    • What are you passionate about, other than work?
    • Do you have a favorite corny joke?

    Here's a little about me:

I joined IBM as part of a process acquisition and I've worked for 10 years on different Automation products.  I love listening to new music and trying new restaurants (pre-COVID). My guilty pleasure is drinking way too much coffee, and I'm excited to be part of this community.

OK, your turn! Upload that profile picture and introduce yourself!

    Hi everyone,

I am a passionate technologist specialising in process automation. I have worked as a BPM consultant for the past 8 years providing various types of services to my clients: process analysis and modeling, process implementation, and production support. Very glad to be part of this forum to connect with everyone. Here is my LinkedIn profile if you'd like to connect.

    • What would make this community amazing for you?: just like StackOverflow, get my questions answered, also would be great if people can share reusable toolkits such as IBM BPM toolkits.
    • How do you use Blueworks Live?: Processes analysis during initial stage
    • What are you passionate about, other than work?: family, badminton
    • Do you have a favorite corny joke? Sorry I don't have

    Thanks!

    Hola!

My name is David and I've been working with IBM and in particular with Blueworks Live since 2008 (lots of process modeling).

Similar to you Stephanie I support the design and engagements of clients projects that use Blueworks Live for their business transformation initiatives. I also want to help answer questions and specifically around scaling process design and modeling with Blueworks Live.

    • What would make this community amazing for you? I'd like for people to come to this community to share best practices in scaling Process Design and Process Modeling with Blueworks Live. I'd also like for others to come to this community to seek guidance on how they can leverage this tool across hundreds of users across geographies in order to achieve their business transformation objectives
    • How do you use Blueworks Live? In my years working with Blueworks Live I've seen the tool being used for all sorts of scenarios and situations. There isn't just one type, size or industry, everything around us is a process. From small engagements with 1 to 3 people, process modeling for process improvement initiatives like Lean Six Sigma projects, to people staging processes and capturing business requirements for BPM implementation, to teams on global initiatives designing the scaling framework with large number of people across geographies. Per my experience scaling is where you truly see how people/teams work smarter (not harder) with Blueworks Live.
    • What are you passionate about, other than work? Tacos! I live in Austin, we have the best tacos.

Look forward to helping others here
    DT

    Hi Franklin!
Welcome to the community! We definitely talk about new technologies -- a lot of people are starting to use Blueworks Live with our latest acquisition WDG, which is a Robotic Process Automation software. Be sure to check out that group too!

Hi Johny, thanks for joining the Blueworks Live Topic Group and saying hello. IBM Blueworks Live is a Process Modeling software that enables you to visualize your processes before automating them. That's what you'll find here. If you want to buy a Desktop to play game on, I might recommend this site for you:

    Hi all,

I'm a former BPM, now L6S BB- specialist, working with process improvement in Pipelife Norway.  I discovered Blueworks 6-7 years ago and introduced it to Pipelife to help us make all of our processes "visible" in order to make improvements.
    • There are not very many Blueworks users in Norway, so this community is a great opportunity to discuss different topics
    • Blueworks in Pipelife is used to mapp our processes in order to make improvements, user manuals - best practice and as a part of Lean6Sigma projects.  It is also a importent part of the documentation we user in our ISO9001 certification.
    • My privat hobby and passion is landscape photography.  Living at the west coast of Norway, I have the most beautiful sceneres just outside my door.
    • I'm not a great joke-teller, so I think I will spare you for that
