  • 1.  Update logo for all reports in Maximo Application Suite.

    Hi 

    We have a requirement to use a new company logo and have exported the report library file and edited the logo image(resources.zip) from report administrator but the new logo is not getting reflected.

    Is there other way to update the report logo for all reports in one go.

    I dont think you can do this... You may have to do this per report atleast from my experience. Did you raise a PMR with IBM to confirm if this is feasible ?

    We have tried similar approach and working as expected in MAS8.9. PMR team also suggested similar solution.

    1. Go to Report Administration.
    2. Export the Library file (option is in the More Action)
    3. Edit the MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary file and search for IBM_logo_black.gif and replace it with XXXX.gif (the new logo).
    4. Create MaximoSystemLibrary folder and place the MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary and XXXX.gif in this folder and zip it.
    5. Select import library file option.
    6. Select MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary for the Existing Library File.
    7. Select MaximoSystemLibrary.rptlibrary which you have edited in the above steps for Library File.
    8.  Lastly select the MaximoSystemLibrary.zip which you have created in above steps having your edited library file and the gif image for Report Resource File value.
    9. Click ok.
    10. Test the report and see if you can see your new logo.

    The previous (Maximo 5.x/6.x) was to located the original logo file (like IBM_logo_black.gif) and replace the file on the server with the new/updated logo using the same file name. The new logo would then still be called IBM_logo_black.gif. That work around should continue to work in MAS as well.
