That is in fact the hard part right? ;) In my experience, if you do not have visibility to the messages themselves then you need to rely on your understanding of the data you contrsctured in the object structure you are processing. Question: is this a manual import or an automated one? If automated it is more risky. Iz is sequential or continuous. If sequential then you are a bit safer in that the first message is holding everything else up and you can likely delete everything. The risk is that the message that is causing the hold may or may not be subsequent (and part of) an earlier message. Is this in Test or Prod?

Hi Bradley,
Thank you for your response. How can I tell if the message is not dependant upon another message?
If they are blank can they still be dependent on another message?
Thank you.
Warm Regards,

Any messages on HOLD that you cannot process you can safely delete PROVIDED: you are POSITIVE they are independent message that are not dependent upon one another. And even if they are you will get error messages telling you they are failing and usually why. Typically speaking if you are getting this type of issue you have message pending validation of some sort. If you do decide to delete them just be sure to take a careful look at your data again before trying to reprocess it.

Hi All,
I have over 154 Messages stuck on HOLD. Many of these are completely blank.
I am not able to process them but can I delete them without causing issues?
Thank you.
