  • 1.  Maximo Spatial inbound error:-

    Hi,

    Im trying to integrate Maximo with open arcgis. For beginning ,testing with  one objectid.

    Cron task properties are in this screenshot.

    Json Mapping have some simple fields.

    Issue :-  Cron task is running successfully however its giving error message [FIDs must not be negative]   in the systemout.log. Please find error log below. I have seen online that FID error can't be fixed or may be related to arcgis side. Please let me know if this can be fixed or have to go with some other sampleserver feature.

    Reading thrugh the log entries it looks as though the Arc GIS server has refused the request presumably because Maximo did not provide all the informaton that it needs.

    Have you gonr through the arcgis documentation e.g. the pages starting here https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/feature-service/ ?

    it looks like you need to talk to ESRII to get their help to understand what information needs to be provided.

    Another place to look would be any ArcGIS forums to see if people have discussed this there ... the error message is from ArcGIS and you shuld get more help frm the GIS experts... once you havae identified what the missing data is then you can figure out how you get Maximo to provide it

    Maximo 7.6.1.2 allow you to store copies of outbound messages so it would be worth enabling that to see what the crontask is actually sendng to the arcgis server...

    To view the messages coming via REST API, Go to Integration > Message Tracking and click on Select Action - Synchronous Message Tracking. 

    if you enable this then you will need to manage the records manually because Maximo does not have a system to delete old messages

    There's no record with ObjectID = 1920118 in the GIS service. If you use this URL it will list all records and their fields from the GIS service https://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/ServiceRequest/FeatureServer/0/query?where=1%3D1&outFields=*&f=html .

    From the log (see below) it's trying to update the GIS service but the OBJECTID = null so the GIS service won't know which record to update. This may be why it's throwing the "Error Code: 400 Description: Unable to complete operation." & "Error Details: [FIDs must not be negative]" errors as the FID is the OBJECTID in GIS and there's no value for it.
