Barcode limitation to 10 char?

    Hi I read a tech note from 2019 regarding "Scanning bar codes and QR codes to identify assets and locations in service requests" Scanning bar codes and QR codes to identify assets and locations in service requests

    In this note there is a ref to that "Bar codes must have a maximum length of 10 characters." And It seems to be true when testing. 

    But I cannot believe my client is the first to have Asset / Location ID's that are longer than 10 char. 

    Anyone who know how to come around this issue?
