Our customer has a standalone APM environment and now they want HA setup. What configuration and changes do we need to do?

    Hello Anjan,
Did you check this link: https://developer.ibm.com/apm/docs/installation-and-configuration/apm_high_availability/

If you environment is running on Cloud, have you considered taking advantage of the snapshot capabilities in combination with Application Load Balancer? It is not truly a HA architecture with an active-active configuration but it could help you with the resiliency.

For DB2, here are some thoughts.  If DB2 is already setup on a 2nd server, it should be pretty straightforward.   Look at these instructions, but there is tons of documentation available on setting up DB2 HADR.
IBM Step by Step Procedure to set up HADR replication between DB2 databases - United States

Ideally, you'll setup DB2 HADR with a VIP.  That makes the configuration of the APM servers easier.

You should be able to follow the instructions found here for setting up APM in an HA/DR config.  Look at these instructions:   APM high availability (On Premises only) - Application Performance Management  Make sure you take a good backup first.  We haven't tried this with an existing system, but it should work.  The key is backing up and restoring the data to the 2nd node.   I would recommend running an APM backup and a full filesystem backup before you start...just in case.
