Hi! I'm assuming you're using the watson assistant web chat. When the 5 minutes are reached, the web chat session ends. If a user closes their tab and then reopens, the web chat history will be gone. If, however, you keep your tab open, the web chat will still preserve the history. If you then start talking to the bot again, it will create a new session and automatically copy over the previous context so a user can continue their conversation.

I've integrated Watson Assistant (Lite plan) with Wordpress.
If there's no activity, the chatbot is supposed to clear the messages in 5 min. However, chatbot is still showing messages a few days ago.
