    Hi everyone,

    I am using Windows and using SPSS statistics 26.0 for my university assignments. 
    After downloading 26.0, I saw that the logs in my output in spss were missing, but didn't think much of it like half a year ago. 

    Only the problem is, my teacher needs a syntax, and I want to copy the logs I made before. Only there are no logs in my output (you can see the left screen in the attachment)

    I really don't know what to do, because there is like half a year of work in spss, and I can't copy the logs to form the syntax at the moment. 

    Does anyone know how to get the logs back? I already tried: Main Menu: Edit: Options: Viewer tab and I've seleced: Select "Display commands in the log". This only brings back the logs in the output if I analyse something new. 
    For all the other analyses I made, the logs are not coming back. 

    Does anyone know what to do, or do I have to start half a year of work all over again?

    There is also a journal file that records every command run as long as it has not been turned off in Options.  You can find it via Edit > Options > Files and open it in any text editor.--
