That extra syntax appears when the "Create APA style tables" box is checked. Just uncheck that box to get the regular Frequencies output.

Hey!
Thanks for sharing that. Ur right when I manually run only the first syntax it works now! Though when I use Analysis -> Descriptive Statistics -> Frequencies it automatically runs the second syntax. Do you have any idea how I could change that ?
Thanks for your help!

Well, that's the answer. After the FREQUENCIES output is created, you are running OUTPUT MODIFY commands that, among other things, specify hiding the cumulative percents. So don't run them. Just run the FREQUENCIES command.

Hey!
I followed the basic usual procedure. I first went to Analysis -> Descriptive Statistics -> Frequencies. Then added the Variables i wanted output for and pressed 'OK'.
The third screen shot shows where I did it and the other two the syntax the program seems to be running. At least those are shown with the results in the output window.

That doesn't look like the Frequencies output. It looks like something you could produce with the Custom Tables procedure even though the outline terms look like it is from Frequencies. Please provide details on exactly what you did.

Hey everyone!
I have a problem because I cannot seem to get SPSS to show me the cumulative frequencies in the frequency tables. From what i have read that should automatically be the case when you generate the frequency tables. For me it does not do that and i have not found any other way to fix this issue.
Maybe anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, or if there is simply a problem with the software. Cause I did have trouble with downloading it in the first place.
Here is a screenshot of what I get:
I do hope I'm just missing something.
