    Problem: Some users of the Academic Initiative/Skillsbuild website see this message "Requested resource is currently unavailable, please try again later" when they try to download a CPLEX Optimization Studio installer. We are working to try to stop this happening for already registered users.

    Solution: Normally this issue will resolve itself about 24 hours after you experience it. Please clear your browser cache and try again after 24 hours. For most users this is enough to gain access. 

    If the problem persists: In a reply below, please add your name, your email (obscure it by using AT for @ and DOT for the . character), and the academic institution to which you belong. Note that you should provide the same details with which you've registered for the Academic Initiative/Skillsbuild website. We will check the messages daily and let you know when we have validated your details and you can download an installer.

    I want to talk about a problem that I am facing about CPLEX Optimization Studio Academic Initiative.

    I have finally downloaded the CPLEX optimization studio thanks to Rory's help. However after downloading the CPLEX I have found out that it is the community edition not the academic version (1000 constraints , 1000 variables restricitions still applied). I am sure that I have downloaded the CPLEX via IBM SkillsBuild page. I would really appreciate if you can help me on this. This is really important to me because my graduation thesis rely on CPLEX API :)

    At the moment I was able to download the software.

    I have not installed it yet. I take the occasion to ask, as I need to install it on two machines.

    That is not a problem, right?

    The reason is that I work with 2 pcs, one of which has a higher memory and I usually let it run for several consecutive ours, while the first is just my regular pc.

    I see these messages now for a long time and have the same issue.

    Why has IBM no way to resolve this issue for everyone in the academic initiative and instead does individual repairs for each one who complains?

    This approach obviously consumes much more manpower than to find a general solution!

    I do not believe that IBM is unable to resolve hat issue, which persists for too many months now.

    Else, i.e. if the IBM people are unable to find a real solution - how should one trust IBM software solutions at all?

    Bear in mind that you see only reports from people who experience a problem downloading; you have no information on the number of people who do not experience a problem.

    While I am greatly interested in leveraging the power and precision of CPLEX for my academic endeavors, I encountered an issue while trying to access the academic version via your registration link (https://academic.ibm.com/a2mt/register). Although the page loads correctly, I am unable to check the boxes pertaining to the "Agree to Terms of Service" and "Agree to Privacy Consent". I have tried accessing the page from different browsers and devices, but the issue remains consistent, leading me to suspect there might be a technical glitch or bug on the webpage.
