there is a piece on IBM DevOps on the IBM pages, DevOps for the IBMi you want to start looking at the tools that allow you to incorporate the DevOps framework and Agile methodology and to look at something like Arcad Software who can deliver the full end to end DevOps development integration you'd be looking for, there is a highlevel link below,
    https://www.arcadsoftware.com/business-value-of-arcad-for-devops-on-ibm-i/

you also want to look to some of the pipeline tools such as Jenkins, or the following from IBM
    https://www.ibm.com/garage/method/practices/deliver/tool_delivery_pipeline/

I hope these help start your journey, there are also a number of books such as devops for dummies etc who might be able to help point you in the right direction.

    Hi Vicente,

IBM DevOps consists of the products you need to do DevOps: Deployment Automation with UrbanCode Deploy, Value Stream Management, Release Mgmt, Data Analytics with UrbanCode Velocity, Functional, Performance, Integration, Virtualized Testing with Rational Test, for starters.

These pages are a good start to learn about these products.

    https://www.ibm.com/cloud/urbancode
    https://www.ibm.com/cloud/devops/software-testing

If you are interested in mainframe DevOps see this site:
    https://www.ibm.com/it-infrastructure/z/capabilities/enterprise-devops

Many of our customers start with Jenkins for continuous integration and then use UrbanCode Deploy for deployment automation to any platform (cloud, kubernetes, vms, z/os, mobile, and IBM i (with help from Arcad - hi, Adrian!), using a repo like Artifactory or Nexus or UrbanCode Deploy's codestation. From there they add functional testing capabilities, value stream management, basically automate everything.

IBM also partners with GitLab and has been adding functionality to the platform. This is especially fitting for cloud native development. See this page:
https://www.ibm.com/products/gitlab-ultimate   Here again, there's a z/OS version (check the tab at the top of the page to get the z/OS info).

I hope that gives you a good idea.
