Publishing API Product Definitions to API Manager using IBM UrbanCode Deploy and the API Connect Plugin

Overview of Video

This video attempts to demonstrate an example of how one can automate deployments of API Product definitions to the API Manager which is part of the Cloud Pak for Integration.   The demonstration shows how an API developer can leverage YML file definitions that describe the deployment and have them checked into source control.   In this demo, you will see that I am using GItLab for my source control system:

As updates are checked in to these files and the corresponding APIs, the updates can be pushed to IBM UrbanCode Deploy as a new Component version and the deployment automatically or manually triggered.   The Component process in IBM UrbanCode Deploy will leverage the "API Connect" automation plugin to achieve an repeatable and reliable deployment process.   Here is an example:
