Symptom
Editing a Cost Object in reference data may not appear in the hierarchy view of the Cost Object Permissions dimension.

Example
Assume that you edit the Cost Object Type table in your reference data. This example shows the Name of a Cost Object changed in the Department Cost Object Type.

When you navigate to the Cost Object Permissions dimension:

What's going on
The Cost Object Type can differ for different plans because it uses reference data of a given publication date. The hierarchy view shows the permissions using the hierarchy of the most recently selected plan.
The name of the plan in use appears at the upper-right of the Cost Object Permissions page:

Resolution
To see the update in Hierarchy view:
After the current plan is linked to the new reference data, the Cost Object Permissions will show the updated data in hierarchy view.
