Collect KPIs from SevOne Data Insight

Purpose of Workflow: Monitor Data Insight containers and application data Automate the collection of performance data from instances of SevOne Data Insight

Description: This workflow enables the collection of performance from the Kubernetes containers and application data from SevOne Data Insight by interrogating the Prometheus interface available in Data Insight.

List of requirements:

  • Automated Observability Version: 2022.8 or later
  • SevOne Version: 6.3.0 or newer
  • Workflows: SevOne Ingest Data - APIv3

Environment Required:

  • Data Insight Prometheus authentication token
  • NMS Credentials

Setup:

  • Recommended to create a job to execute the workflow every 5 minutes

Expected results:

  • KPIs from the containers running on Data Insight as well as application data will appear in SevOne
