This deck is from the first part of the OVUG meeting, where Peter Costigan (IBM PM for Optim) and Vishwas Balakrishna (Estuate technical leader of Optim Archive Viewer) presented.  This specific deck is about:
 
  • Overview of Data Lakehouse history and business value.
  • Overview of some technologies in Data Lakehouse that align with Optim Archive Viewer technology (Parquet file format, Iceberg and other table formats)
  • It also briefly mentions watsonx.data, IBM's Data Lakehouse offering.
After Peter presented this deck, Vishwas presented a short deck on Optim Archive Viewer's technologies.
