I am pleased to inform that we have released a new version of RBD, which changes the name of RBD as well - to IBM Business Developer IBD 10. 

Major functions and improvements delivered in Business Developer (IBD) 10.0 include:

EGL Code Accelerator

• An AI‑driven code generator powered by a fine‑tuned IBM Granite LLM that assists with EGL code creation and explanation.
• It is available through a dedicated IBD plug‑in or directly within the inline EGL editor.

Language

• EGL spring boot enhancements (for REST only)
• Enhancements to String EGL library for z/OS

Observability

• Jenkins integration
• Logging in EGL
• Improve the information that is we provided with generated JAVA code

Currency support

• IBM z/OS 3.1 support
• Support for IBM Semeru 17

Enhancement requests

• Character Large Objects (CLOB) support on IBM z/OS
• Retrieve user credentials from HTTP header
• Connecting to PostgreSQL database
• Single sign-on support in Enterprise Generation Language
• EUnits in Enterprise Generation Language
• Support for Kerberos on IBM i
