May 23 (v1.7.2): Correction to FTE Efficiency metrics in Interactive Benchmarking

The IT Benchmarking 1.7.2 release, dated May 23, 2018, contains the following corrections:

 

Incorrect metrics. FTE Efficiency metrics in the downloadable Unified_Benchmarks.csv file displayed mean values. This file has now been corrected to display the following values based on the adjuster chosen in IT Benchmarking:

  • Median benchmark number, if median is chosen
  • Scale-adjusted benchmark number, if scale adjuster is chosen
  • Region-adjusted benchmark metric, if region adjuster is chosen
  • Industry-adjusted benchmark metric, if industry adjuster is chosen

 

Click on 'Download Benchmarks as CSV' button to download the csv file with corrected FTE metrics,

 

Incorrect Actual FTE Efficiency value. The Actual FTE Efficiency value was incorrectly displayed in the Scale adjuster. The value has been corrected to the following calculation:

Actual FTE Efficiency = Volume Input/Total IT FTE
