In the kick off of our Advocacy Office Hours on August 13, 2026 (Thursday) we spoke all about Advocacy!

We shared why Advocacy is important, how our advocates can leverage the program to build their voice in the IBM Z and LinuxONE community, expand their network and take advantage of opportunities to grow their personal brand and career.
We also did a demo of the Advocacy Hub, some of its' functionalities and shared available opportunities to take advantage of as well!

We also had a very special guest - Ruth Bonser (Infrastructure Services Manager, Chair of Employee Advocacy Group, IBM Champion, IBM Z Today’s Architect) who shared incredible insights into her Advocacy journey!
She shared how, although advocacy was something that came naturally to her, she has made it a point to share her experiences, expertise and knowledge to share that passion with other people, helping them grow their reach and start their advocacy journey themselves. Listen to the full recording and hear the inspiring journey that Ruth has had.

Become an advocate and follow the simple steps we described to earn your very first Advocacy Badge!
We would love to hear your feedback and thoughts!
