Hey! Dear,

  1. Extract: Run as Admin; check ZIP integrity (re-download). Paths without spaces.​

  2. License error: Disable floating enforcement first, then re-apply the activation ZIP. Contact IBM if entitled.​

  3. Slow startup/OutOfMemory: Increase -Xmx to 8-16GB; close unused views.​

  4. Connection fails: IBM i PTFs (SF99xxx); check the firewall (ports 22, 446, 8476); Service Entry Point (5733-WDS).

  5. Windows 11 24H2 crash: SentinelOne conflict,Exclude RDi.exe or update AV.​

  6. Update hangs: Uncheck "Contact all sites"; manual ZIP from Fix Central.

  7. Linux perms: chown -R user:group /opt/ibm/rdi; SELinux permissive if issues.
