TBM Studio is the foundation of ApptioOne and Apptio ITFM tools. 

Thanks to Community-led feature requests and our desire to improve performance, scalability, stability and maintainability across Apptio’s platform, we have implemented major releases for Studio in 2023.

Let’s focus on some of the major new releases focused on visual improvements and experiential enhancements, including:

• All-new APEX UI uplift: designed to modernize the look and feel of the Apptio solutions built on TBM Studio (e.g., ApptioOne Costing, CT, Bill of IT, ApptioOne Demand, etc.) that incorporates new colors, fonts, and updates to UI elements to be more consistent with other Apptio products such as Cloudability and Apptio BI.
  
• Create custom color palettes: Select desired color combination(s) for most visualization types  in TBM Studio / R12 reporting. Users can define, manage and apply corporate colors to report collections/reports
• Precision Calculations: A major performance improvement that improves performance targeting only the impacted areas for each build. In the Calculation Queue feature, Administrators will see faster calculation times and variation in times for various builds
  
• Calc Management: Customers can now disable/enable staging calculations at a project level, so that they can control which projects get calculated and in turn, reduce the number of total calculations.
• Fix-it Workflow​: A new workflow feature guides Administrators to correct configuration issues identified by the Configuration Recommendations service to make it easier for administrators to fix known issues to improve performance
