This paper proposes a set of best practices intended for the Board and C-Level Senior Management at Financial Institutions to enhance the management of new security risks in artificial intelligence with a focus on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in the European financial sector. The proposed best practices are grouped into three dimensions: AI risk framework inventory, AI risk identification, AI risk control objectives & controls.
