IBM DevOps Code RealTime is a development tool for creating event-driven realtime C++ applications in Visual Studio Code. It provides developers with increased abstraction through a domain-specific language, called Art, which has both a textual and graphical notation. Art files are automatically checked for errors as you edit them, and are translated on the fly to highly performant C++ code. This session will introduce version 2.0 of Code RealTime that was recently released. A special emphasis will be on how generative AI can assist users of Code RealTime during the different phases of development, all the way from creating Art files with C++ to analyzing run-time traces captured from a running application.
