In this session, we will demonstrate a real-world case study of outsourcing terabytes of documents stored as smart blobs on an external file system using the new features of IBM Informix 15. The goal is to provide easy access to documents from a new AI system and improve database administration. Real-world data on the outsourcing process, commands, and scripts used, including a detailed look at poorly documented commands, statistics, and lessons learned from the process, will be provided.
