As a system administrator, what do they do to manage the Content Assistant? See administration documentation here.
How are docs in the system added to the vector db? Using sweeps or subscriptions?
1. See steps 3, 8, and 9 here in IBM Documentation. Persistent text extraction for each object store must be enabled and then creating document class subscriptions for vector indexing and watsonx summary.
How long is the delay for document deletion? The deletion occurs within minutes, but it can sometimes take a bit longer for that deletion to propagate across all nodes of the vector database. However that doesn’t matter, because deletion on CE is instantaneous. So CE will never allow a document to be used in a Content Assistant question if the document has been deleted.
