We have an archive job that is not deleting the rows as expected after the archive file is created.  There are numerous tables in the job and the archive identifies the rows that are to be archived.  Those counts look correct.  There are only eligible rows in the first 3 tables.  All other tables have 0 rows.  During the delete step, all rows are erroring on the delete.  The control file status column says 'Not all columns in row match'.  Everything we look at matches.  column names, data type, size etc.  our research has included running the sql in sql server management studio and the deletes work fine there.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Phil

Are you perhaps using  VIEWs instead of TABLEs in your access definition?

    Fred,

We are accessing the tables directly.

Are you using the option to compare row contents before deletion? If so, try turning that off unless there is any risk you are updating these rows slated for deletion.
